I really like the sound of Innerzone Orchestra's "Bug In The Bassbin (Street Mix)", that appeared on the Mo' Wax "Headz II: Part B" compilation. I've been searching for more stuff in the same vein, particularly listening to as much Carl Craig stuff as I can find, but I've been coming up empty until...
Lo and behold, I stumbled upon Black Dog's "Bytes" LP. The first cut "Object Orient" by Plaid has the same feel!
So if anyone is familiar with either of these two cuts, I'd appreciate it if you could point me in the direction of other songs/artists that use the same drum feel, sounds, etc.

seriously though, check the early 90's a.r.t. comp which has a lot of carl craig, kirk degiorgio and black dog stuff on it. the drums are all pretty much with that feel.
