I went there today for the first time in a while... that was pretty strange. Cool, since I've been into lot's of Salsa and Bossanova and lounge type stuff lately, but still weird.. sort of reeked of "trendiness" kind of since I've sort of noticed that Latin music is the "in thing" now.. anywho, I digress.

one time I returned a shitty anti-pop consortium cd my roommate left behind and though i was quoted 6 dollars only got 4. the indie scowl this counter chick gave me led me to not argue the point.

I thought Latin music was the hot trend of 1999.

OK, but why the Wembley Stadium reference? I'd like to see that guy in Roe Green Park.

I've been to this store, btw.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Friday, 24 February 2006 00:27 (nineteen years ago)

it's of funny but sort of inaccurate, OM's clerks have always been pretty attentive in my experience.

Matos-Webster Dictionary (M Matos), Friday, 24 February 2006 08:51 (nineteen years ago)

OK, I obviously should've watched it all first. (and that's supposed to be "sort of," not "of.") gets funnier as it goes.

My computer at work is too old for this version of quicktime!

I have always got very good service at Other Music. They are real sweeties.

Steve Shasta (Steve Shasta), Friday, 24 February 2006 15:20 (nineteen years ago)

I don't think I've ever seen them give anybody an attitude, despite their reputation for doing so. And seeing as that movie was shot on their premises, I'd say they have a sense of humor about the whole thing.

Does anyone else get the funny feeling when they shop there that the section will all the indie rock bands is like the "mark" section?
