i went to high school with mike, the guitar player. we also had the same guitar teacher. i took lessons for 6 years with that guy and i have no idea how to read music, don't know scales, anything. which suggests that either mike's a prodigy or i'm an idiot. probably both.

mike's a super sweet guy though and i'm glad his band is getting their very own thread. i think we went to upsilon shows together when he lived in L.A.
