There's an interesting bit from one of the good web bio's on describing his and Edgar's early bands in Beaumont. They had success as a local indie recording act and whenever they'd get on local TV to play their songs, a local fellow promoting them said their records were stop selling. Why? People were "freaked out" they were albinos.

The western hills of San Jose are filled with weird albino tribes. I haven't seen a movie on this though...so it's probably not true.
