The chorus of "Don't cry out", when the female singer comes in, makes me ecstatically happy.

This reminded me of the bloke in t'other night's London Free Sheet who said his career ambitions were 'four Grammys, two Brits'.

I dig the first album a lot. It has a great New Order/Depeche Mode vibe to it, terrible lyrics and all. Maybe a bit whinier. "Turn to Real Life" is an awesome tune, could easily be among the best of New Order. The actual single "Le Disko" is so garbage though. I just threw up, from thinking about it.
The second album is a total dud though. They replaced the female singer and wrote a bunch of really trite mopey stuff, I guess it's the kind of stuff that would appeal to 13 year-olds but I am a man god damnit and this sucks.
There seems to be a group of girls who play them a lot on the bar jukeboxes, especially the cover of "Major Tom", which is not very good. After the fourth time I heard them play it I asked "can't you at least play the original?" to which they just looked at me, puzzled. They never heard of Peter Schilling. And they went home...alone
