The cool kids ain't up yet. Us, who desperately wanna be cool (notice how I typed "wanna"?), are the only ones around right now. Welcome, and hide your lunch money!

I like Polvo a lot, but haven't listened to them in quite a while. Are you from Chapel Hill?

this thread should definitely be solely devoted to polvo!

I believe Polvo broke up a while back Matt2. And no I'n not from S. Carolina. I'm from S.E. Asia actually! Are you all Americans then? Perhaps an A/S/L check is in order. Isn't that what cool kids would do? then again......

SC only wishes they had bands like Polvo. All we got is Marshall Tucker and Hootie

Morley Timmons (Donna Brown), Wednesday, 5 October 2005 19:42 (twenty years ago)

Polvo rule(d). So did Erectus Monotone.

Zack Richardson (teenagequiet), Wednesday, 5 October 2005 20:03 (twenty years ago)

Opps! I'm always geting my poles mixed up! Btw, Hootie blows! sorry

I've only heard one song, despite trying to get more, by Polvo. No offense, but with a lot of the slighty north-eastish, or wherever Chicago is area math rock is, a lot of it sounds pretty similar to me.

Hooray for Polmo Polpo on the other hand, he's playing here on Saturday, with Khonnor. I would like to go to that.

And so I went. And Polmo Polpo did a house set. And it was amazing!
