Who is the artist that created this record cover?

On the off chance that the artist received credit somewhere on the LP, my copy seems to be missing from my collection.

And here is another question about this record: Is it an LP, an EP or a 12" single? I can't quite figure it out.

Right, the sleeve says "Lipps Inc", and the gif says "Mouth to Mouth"...

You askin' who painted it, like?

Considering this can be found for no more than a buck at any used record store, you should go to a used vinyl store, find it, and look at the art credits...(assuming you're in the U.S., that is.)

If worse comes to worse, I can dig my copy out and look.

it's one of those confusing disco records. It's an LP but with like 6 songs or whatever, but they're long disco songs. Don't think it's an ep. I'll check my copy at some point. You know what, Funkytown rocks.

It's a FOUR song LP!

Then again, if those early Can records can be considered albums, so can this Lipps, Inc. self titled.

Granted, the longest song on Lipps, Inc. is just 8 minutes. ("Power" I think). Whereas, Can will slip on a 20 minute one.

it's weird that a full length running time record's full length lp status would be called in to question...

xxx post

Yeah, I know the record can be found for a buck. Hell, I have a copy buried here somewhere in my collection. But I thought I'd check with the wise ones on ILM, not the wise asses!

So one of you agrees that it is an LP. Any other opinions?

four weeks pass...
I saw it at the local record store tonight for *doodly doodly doodly* a buck.

The illustration and art design was: Michael Kevin Lee/Gribbitt! also listed was Jan Kovalheisen or something like that..(this is from memory.) Hope that helps.

"the wise ones on ILM, not the wise asses"

you gotta lotta splainin to do here as to the difference.

Get one Billboard book, by the way. The single was No. 1, the album must've gone Top 10 at least.

By the way, the next time a Yes thread opens up, I expect to see the phrase "one of those confusing Yes records" all over this place.
