He don't want to love but he want's to be loved. It's pretty obvious.

Also, Voodoo, interesting answer, but I don't think it's really that simple. Sounds like it's supposed to be pretty ambiguous to me.

the song is about a bro whose girl is threatening to dump him if he doesn't let her watch as another guy fucks him in the ass, and he's begging her not to leave despite his refusal to go gay for a night. He's wondering why she'd give him this ultimatum, like maybe it doesn't mean as much to her as it does to him. She's like, "take it raw, fatty, or so long". He's begging, pleading, "Anything but that, for god's sake!" The hidden subtext is he doth protest too much, and he really does want to do it, but he's got to play like he doesn't. truth is, Meat Loaf will eventually take the salami surprise, because he does love her that much, and she's only trying to, um, open him up to a world he's never seen, felt--nay--SMELT before, a world that he truly does want to travel to. that, my friends, is LOVE!

Some have found the lyrics of the song cryptic and claim that the singer never identifies what the "that" is that he is unwilling to do. [2] [3] Although some people assume that "that" is an exophoric reference to a sex act, it is actually an anaphoric reference to the varying activities specified as antecedents in the lyric that the singer says that he won't do."I'll never forget the way you feel right now ...""I'll never forgive myself if we don't go all the way tonight ...""I'll never do it better than I do it with you ...""I'll never stop dreaming of you every night of my life ..."
In addition, the female vocalist identifies two other things that the lead singer denies that he will do: "You'll see that it's time to move on" and "You'll be screwing around." To both of these, the lead singer responds, "I won't do that! No, I won't do that!"
