getting past the protection on z

gha! its so annoying! when i play the new my morning jacket in itunes and import it its all scrambled. how do you get past the copywrite protection on this?

I don't know which copy-protection scheme that particular cd uses, but many of them can be defeated simply by going into itunes' options and turning on error correction.

Get it on soulseek, then, and try returning it to the store for credit- and be sure to tell them why. If enough people make enough of a fuss about copy-protected "CDs" (which they technically aren't- Philips doesn't allow the use of the Compact Disc logo on them since they don't comply with the Redbook standard), hopefully the major labels will realize sooner that it's a fucking stupid idea that does nothing to stop mp3s getting out, and everything to piss off good customers who went out of their way to buy a physical copy.
