On that Comedy Central show how much does the music geek know? I've seen it a couple times, do you people think you know a lot more than him?

No one ever challenges the music geek. But I bet I could beat him. One of the (few) geek questions: "What's so Funny About Peace, Love & Understanding" - Elvis Costello version,,,
Q: Who wrote it? What Album? What year?
A:that's too fuckin' easy.

Nick Lowe, Armed Forces, 1979

God, even I knew that and I don't know anything.

They've been using two music geeks. The one with the dark curly hair doesn't know a whole lot, but the long hair fella that they've used more often is pretty good.

The worst geek they have on their is that guest hip-hop geek. He's not a geek, just a dork. He claims to own 10,000 rap records (!!!) but he thought Biggy Smalls was the rapper on Janet Jackson's "Alright." Think of any character Michael Rappaport has ever played with 1/10th the smarts.

i found the long haired fella in Ameoba hitting on my girl and he was trying to get her to buy Nurse with Wound. so thats pretty geeky if you ask me.

Hehe, I think he mentioned NWW in one of his opening lines.

Turns out he works for Rhino. (He produced the Echo box.) He won a couple of those aptitude tests they come up with and now he writes them. I reckon that wld render him qualified.

Maybe it's my alter ego. I keep telling him not to run around like that.

yeah, i remember the NWW reference too.

so far the only geek that's really impressed me is the TV geek. but yeah, the music geek is way underused, and i've yet to see them lob anything at him that didn't make me yawn, so it's hard to verify his skill. he definitely knows his history, but i suspect he's not very sharp on the past 10-15 years in general.

The movie geek knows his shit. Also I love the guest Star Trek geek because he is the guy from Trekkies who was showing off his new uniform design at the convention.
