Arthur Lee has plans to tour Europe - how great is that?

Bet he won't play Scotland though.

I was in the supermarket the other day absentmindedly grooving to the elevator music.. first was Hall & Oates' "Maneater." And as I fondled the couscous, what should begin but the opening picking of "Alone Again Or..." I was blown away... it fit in perfect as grocery store music... halfway through a clerk interrupted with "Sherry, cleanup on aisle 4!" and the song started right back up, trumpet blaring... the only song I've ever heard on the radio was "Little Red Book" like ONCE. Amazing story, but true.

...cover ears and run for your life if he breaks into any of those lame reggae tooonz he seems to favor by the end of set. Hold breath & X-fingers...

Aw, it was great when we found out about this- we were in a bar and my mate just comes up to the table with a bottle of champagne in his hands- "Arthur Lee is Free!" Huzzah. I really like Love, but the fact that he's proud of 'discovering' people like The Doors just makes me sick.
