How are those mock / homage album covers made? You know, like that Boris / Nick Drake one and the Pussy Galore one?

i like that recent nilsson one by cheeseburger. i have one by an awful band called philistines jr. which is just the cover of let it be and they pasted someone's face over the replacements' faces on the cover and that is their cover. voila!
