Irish band. MY half-assed description would be chris cornell singing with the roots. Perhaps you can do better?

I'm amazed they're not better known. They don't even have a deal right now, yet given the breaks they could be massive.
I'll stand your Roots but I don't hear Cornell. There's something Nick Cave-y about them, possibly the bad suits, but their apparently sloppy (but not really) funk is very radio friendly, when they're not swearing.

I'm a bit dubious of their putting an attractive woman showing her nipple on their record cover, when Republic of Loose are actually an all male bunch of munters.

And their music stinks. One (not very good) trick pony over an entire album...

People, seek out 8Ball (they're on myspace as 8ballmusic I think) a young band from Dublin. Really fun live all swopping instruments and making a fucking exciting racket!
