I don't think Tom was really bashing "Crazy Frog" or mainstream music as much as just thinking the industry that produces it is really amusing... which it is! This is the same guy who, in a late 80s interview, admitted to loving Madonna and SAW type stuff while at the same time listening to Hindi stuff. Then again, Tom's always been a sit-back-and-laugh-at-everything bitter bastard anyway, so no surprise. He dismissed industrial dance/Wax Trax stuff as "gothic disco" in that same interview.

(Not that any of the mid-80s Sev stuff doesn't sound like it has frog sounds or anything, of course.)
