i was describing my band to an old boss of mine (bri@n b@ngs, for you who know him), and when i mentioned that we were poppy, but that it was noisy at times, he was like "as long as it's not like ween, right?" it took me the longest time to figure out that he meant "not abrasive like ween, who im convinced is the best example of abrasive music" isnt that a pretty weird way to think of abrasiveness in music, as being like ween?
