The shoot-yourself-in-the-foot thing about Zolar X is they sounded way tougher than they looked. You expect Peter Pan and Pixanne music and you get Hiwatt stacks and fairly standard space glam thud with big guitar. They should've left Hollywood. Nothing being burned onstage in San Antone for a Trapeze bill or opening at Ag Hall in Allentown for BOC wouldn't couldn't have fixed.
