How come I never heard about this?
From the reviews I've read it sounds like another damn good Dirtbombs release.

It compiles 7-inch tracks, tribute offerings, goofy cover shit, et al. OF COURSE it's good.

It's the BEST Dirtbombs release, as it piles together all the compilation appearances and 7" single tracks into a tidy 2xcd set (with some decent new material).

Yeah, it's best. Seriously, I had always kinda thought the Dirtbombs were bunk, but this is tight all the way through. Even their throw-aways are gold.

It's good, but I still dig "Ultraglide" the most.

I've been listening to this a lot lately - great stuff. I never quite gave them the chance I should have figuring no way could they compete w/ the Gories but now I'm rethinking that.

Just listening to this yesterday, actually. It's a whole lot better'n their albums (other than Ultraglide). I dunno, i feel like it's a way more accurate representation of what they actually sound like and the tunes are way better than on their full-lengths. Personal fave at the moment is "Never Licking You Again."

GAH, MUST HAVE!!!!

Well, part of Mick's original concept was that the band would only release 7" singles. So this - the recordings at least - is the true essence of the band. And yeah, 52 tracks, no bad songs.

I love "Little Miss Chocolate Syrup" - sounds like a Fishbone/T-Rex collaboration or something.

Never Licking You Again? Aww, for me it's Cedar Point '76. But instant classic, if only because it allieviates the need to collect an assload of 7"s.
And it comes closest to seeing them live. I always feel kinda sorry for the opening bands I see with them. With very few exceptions (Paybacks, a few others), they just can't stand with them. Whoever comes before them on a bill ends up being the least memorable part of the show.
