Donovan's "Cosmic Wheels"

I love Donovan to the ends of the earth, but I've never heard this album, and have steered clear of it due to the unutterably stew-pid cover art.

Career suicide or unhailed classic? Is it worth paying for, despite the fact that some jackass kid already colored the gatefold in with his "Cosmic Crayons?"

Yeah, Open Road is the best ever, but Cosmic Wheels wasn't too bad, definitely better than the next couple of albums that followed it.

Definitely get it. It's got those Gainsborg via David Holmes via Brion/Kanye string/beats thing going on. It's EXTRA good if you get the colored version. Does it have the mind-melting poster inside too? Check out the cut, "Music Makers." Key!
