Sometime in the late Eighties/ early Nineties, I heard a track that I think was on On-U Sound. I would love to track it down.. this is what I can remember of it.

-The vocals were a spoken narrative of a story about either a robot or some kind of future vehicle.
-The vocals sound a bit like that sample: "Your head will become a crazy bulbous punchbag of sound," which apparently is Andy Fairley, who worked with quite a few On-U artists.
-The vocals talk about something like "tacksider" and "the heavy metal kid." I've done some googling around these and Andy Fairley, with no results.

Any On-U collectors out there who would know what I'm on about?

If you go to kzsu.stanford.edu/eklein/artist/artistfa.html that should help. I don't know anything about him but I tried googling my name and found that, and this.

Yeah, it's off Keith LeBlanc's Stranger than Fiction album.

That's the one.

This track is cool... it has that big, wide open sound; but also seethes and drips with menace. Along with public enemy It opened up my eyes to music other than punk.

Thanks Sean!
