!!! Newbie needs help !!!

Hi everyone,

only discovered house music 6 months ago having been into drum and bass for five or so years. Having rapidly got tired of funky/vocal/uplifting house i recently came across tech house but i know nothing about it.

Can anyone rcommend some DJs in the scene i could download? Nothing to clicky mind - its got to have a funk edge or i just can't dance to it lol!

Anything in the vein of M.A.N.D.Y. or what Giles Smith (for those of you from London) plays is right up my street.

Any help would be much appreciated, cheers people.

I was deep into D&B until 2002 or so...for well-known house DJs, I'd highly recommend the Tyrant duo- Craig Richards and Lee Burridge. Also, if you haven't got any Layo & Bushwacka yet, get you some- especially the tune "Deep South". Don't really know much about Giles Smith, and I've only heard a little MANDY, so I can't really comment on that.
