Spaceman has a solo album coming out at some point. One of the Springheel Jack guys has a label, or a series of albums or something called... um, Treader? Something like that. Spaceman is supposed to do an album in that series. No date yet, as far as I know. They've been recording a proper album as well, but I think that's farther off.

For my money, the last two albums have been a bit too self-conscious.'Let It Come Down' tried to be a bigger, grander album than L&G (and mostly failed, especially lyrically), whilst 'Amazing Grace' was a mostly conventional reaction to the big orchestral sound. Hopefully, Jason will get back on track and do something more instinctive with this next one. I don't know if I still hold L&G in as high regard as I did in '97 - but it was a really important record for me back then and really shaped the direction of the music I was listening to and writing. I keep meaning to give it another listen and see if it still sounds like a classic.
