A friend just recommended me his album, Revolutionary Dream, and holy smokes! Anyone know anything about him?

Mid-70s to early-80s roots singer. "I Man A Grasshopper" from Revolutionary Dream was the hit. Most of that record was produced (or at least mixed) at Black Ark. He's the cool looking guy with the shades on the cover of 500% Dynamite. A couple of his late late 70s/1980s albums just got reissued, I think. They are supposed to be good, but I haven't heard em.

I got a promo of "Mission" on RAS back in 95, but haven't listened to it in ages. Sly & Robbie and sax player Dean Fraser played on it.

Weirdly, I'm sure I heard him all the time in the 80s, but I can't remember anything about what he sounds like.
