Test-Icicles: I wager that their name is supposed to be a pun on "testicles"

This EP sounds like some shitty Level-Plane "avant-hardcore" band setting their drum machines to "gogogo airheart"

Not only that but they were beaten to the punch by a few years by Australian bogan-rock band Testeagles.

Ceci est une plaisanterie très drôle. Je dois écouter cet exciter la nouvelle bande.

What is "bogan-rock"?

I wager you're right.

I want to hear this, but I can't bring myself to because of the name.

I kind of like the Boa vs. Python single. It rocks me. Then again, I actually went to see Stryper in concert last night...

(perhaps I can't be trusted?)

1. nothing on level plane would ever be as catchy.
2. the band does not use a drum machine. they are real drums, played by the band.
3. the band rocks, listen to the full length.

Petey Pablo, Thursday, 10 November 2005 19:25 (twenty years ago)

rentboy (rentboy), Thursday, 10 November 2005 19:53 (twenty years ago)

They sure SOUND like real drums, but my friend told me they were a drum machine since there was no drummer when she saw them live. Ginger Baker could be playing the drums and they would still sound intolerable.

And "LMNO Hoes" sounds CocoRacist to me. Even if there is a black dude in the band.

Whiney G. Weingarten (whineyg), Thursday, 10 November 2005 20:38 (twenty years ago)

The name sounds like some Alternative Tentacles wanna be group you'd see in a used CD bin like 1993.

CocoRosie are RaHoWa? Did I miss something?

Favourite use of "testicles" in music = "My fantesticles" by Tiramisu.
