Newsstand visits suggest the answer is no (at least, no American hip-hop CDs). Has the cover-mount CD thing not crossed over to hip-hop publications? Or am I missing some?

(I mean, no American hip-hop magazines. I didn't mean to imply that there were magazines with non-American hip-hop.)

No, I don't think there are. Or at least none of the bigger hip hop mags do this (aka the ones I see at Tower.)

OK, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any. It's for something I'm writing and I didn't want it to come out and then get angry phone calls from people I left out.

I bought a southern rap mag (can't remember the name, and I can't find it right now) last month, and it had a CD attached (Ying Yang, Mike Jones, etc.)

Not a major magazine, but hey, I got it at Tower.

Was it Ozone? I've only read it online, so I don't know if they maybe have CDs with the printed version. Mebbe I should find out.

Australian hip-hop quarterly Stealth has a cover-mount every issue: http://www.stealthmag.com/

Hmm, that's probably a little outside my coverage area. Thanks, tho. I did find out that Ozone does have CDs, so that's one.
