hopefully not stepping on bens toes here.....
how do you feel when artists(indie or otherwise) avail themselves to promotional cds for large company giveaways?
i ask this because the shins along with built to spill,b.r.m.c.,david holmes,jonathan richman & beachwood sparks are all on a cd given away by american eagle clothing stores when you spend $50 at their outlets.

I'd only give a toss if the track was RARE and EXCLUSIVE and I had to go to stupid efforts or had to buy some crappy clothing to get hold of it
