I got this comilation "Mastercuts Classic Rare Grooves Vol. 2" thats really smooth, jazzy kind of R&B/Disco or whatever, and I'm really liking some of this stuff! This song "Work It Out" by Breakwater is pure schmaltz, with a sort of Bossa Nova influence, and probably way too happy, but I'm really feeling it. Is something wrong with me? Am I venturing into Bobby McFerrin territory?

It's been my dream to make a band who make the best ever lift music you could possibly wish for. and then do it for other situations. like, music for lifts that makes you want to stay in the lift even after the doors have opened cos it's so chilled!

Nothing worng with you at all. Great stuff - and volume 1 is even groovier. So much good stuff on those Mastercuts albums and often available at cheap, cheap prices.

I worked for Albertsons for a brief 2 weeks (worst job ever). It was an Albertsons I'd been going to since I was a little child, and on my first three days there, I swore they hadn't changed their muzak tapes since then.

I actually fucking heard Jack Wagner's "All I Need" during a shift one. JACK WAGNER??!!!
