I've just stumbled on this label and every reissue is killing me. I've been collecting soul /funk for awhile now, but these are some of the best albums I have heard. It seems they are picking up where labels like Kent Soul are leaving off.

100 % Pure Poison-Coming Right At You
Leroy Hutson-Hutson
Tom Brock-I Love You More And More
Lou Courtney-I'm In Need Of Love
Lou Ragland-The Conveyor
Greg Perry - One For The Road
FBI-FBI
Marva Whitney - It's My Thing
Hot Chocolate - Hot Chocolate
The Eliminators - Loving Explosion

Those are the ones I've bought. The Leroy Hutson sounds like nothing I would have assumed him to do after the impressions, really nice smooth late 70's soul with nice instrumentals. 100 % Pure Poison is everything on one album, hard funk ,smooth deep soul, and Windy C is one of the best, The break alone are worth buying it for.
Is anyone else buying these, and floored as I am? Any other recommendations?

Yeah, that's a good reissue label alright. Check out the Gary Bartz Anthology and "Rhythm of Life" by James Mason. The latter is one of the best records of the 70s.

I just picked up 'Groove On Down" yesterday. I've been looking for Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll. I'll check out Leroy Burgess.

Oh, yeah...that one looks nice. It's got a track off the Dazzle record and two LOGG cuts. The LOGG album is unbelievable.

is there anywhere you can order these in the US for less than way too much money?

I have been paying 22. to 26. each, but they are worth it. But I don't mind paying a bit more for what I want, esp. for soul/disco.

The cheapest I've found Soul Brother stuff is at Dusty Groove, and it's usually $17-18 at the cheapest. But they usually have the Logg album in stock too, which is one of my all time faves. I'm waiting in vain for the third volume of the Burgess anthology.

one year passes...

I'm waiting in vain for the third volume of the Burgess anthology.

My waiting wasn't in vain after all!
