instrumentals of pop songs

does anyone have any instrumental verions of pop songs. not the crappy karaoke versions but verions that sound like the originals only without vocals. i'd really appreciate it thanks.

Yeah, the people who own the recordings have them.

Some of them actually get released on these things called singles.

that was a bit rude.
i know they get released on singles. but these rare things called singles are sometimes diffifult to find stateside. i found a few gwen stefani ones.

There's a good instrumental version of Simple Minds' "Glittering Prize" called "Glittering Theme", if I can dig it out at home later I will YSI.

Have you heard The Smoke's We Can Take It (1966)? Their backing track was used by the Morgan sound library with a sax replacing the vocal. It's a killer of a song!
