are you referring to the montreal band? i accidentally caught their set during pop montreal last year and i rather liked it. it didn't blow me away but it stuck with me for some reason, more so than your average local opening band. maybe after seeing so many bands in so few days, it was nice to have music that didn't shove itself down your throat.
