I'm trying to identify the name of an American indy/shoegazer/space-rock band from the mid-90s, but I don't have much to go on. :-( One of their songs had the line "They've been talking about you. What they say it isn't true. They've been talking about you. And about me too."

There was also a song containing a description of listening to an "air conditoner wine."

I think the band's name may start with a 'J' or a 'G' and that they *may* be from the West coast.

Any ideas?
