Happy Thanksgiving to the US contingent. And the rest of you, too, I guess, although it doesn't make as much sense that way.

Karen Finley is catering my dinner tomorrow evening. What should I expect?

This has got to be one of the more inspired thread titles in recent memory.

I heard Ms. Finley can be quite "loud". I hope my grandmother is ok with that, although if Ms. Finley has a special way with belgian waffles, then i'm sure grandma will join in.

That's right. I say smack the SHIT out of YOUR representative in the house because the vast majority of democrats voted against an all-out Iraq pull-out measure and I don't understand what's happening I only listened to something on the radio that SOUNDED like NPR The 1984 ORWELL JACK OFF FANTASY

WHY DID THE DEMOCRATS VOTE NOT TO PULL TROOPS OUT? WHY WHY WHY WHAT IS THE BOTTOM OFTHIS? WHAT IS IT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND ABOUT This WHY?> DENNIS KUC/INIch Voted against it WHY?

I was in a traffic jam at the time, one of the two worst traffic jams I've ever been in, and I couldn't process all this. Some Republican who claimed he had voted for Bush TWO TIMES was speaking out against the president's curious tendency NOT to speak out against those who had hurt his administration...and I listened on the radio in the traffic jam to all this Anti-Bush stuff but then at the end, the guy admitted he had voted for Bush TWO TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!! And That he was a REPUBLICAN and I thought I was going to be ill and be sick on the floor of my car. In a traffic jam.
