Been really busy preparing for an job interview and presentation this last fortnight* that I've had no time to seek out good music. My Soulseek list is empty and my cd shelves are going bare.

Things I've been enjoying recently:

Boards of Canada
Ivor Cutler
Plaid's Spokes album (it suddenly just clicked after years of meh)
Tiny Tim
a few old IDM acts of yore
Ramones

I've also caught the post-punk itch (probably all too late), but the New York Noise and Sexual Lives of the Savages have been kicking my arse lately.

Track down some old Black Dog albums, particularly Spanners, if you've been enjoying Plaid (I had the same delayed love for Spokes). It's a bit of insight into where that sound started.
