"Dah shinin" has better production and better lyrics than "enta da stage" but i don't think there's a song on there i like as much as "i gotcha opin".

Here's a rather good song which got cut from "dah shinin'" due to sample clearance

although the black moon remixes from that album, that came out on 12" singles and not on any release I know of, own both albums

As great as the "i gotcha opin" remix is, it isn't even close to touchin' the original.

Dah Shinin. It's just a more listenable album. "Sound Bwoy Buriell" is one of the best BCC posse cuts. "Bucktown" is one of the best rap songs of the nineties.

Dah Shinin' wins, but really these are two of my favorite records ever. The Black Moon remix/b-sides album is great too! They sample Bo Hanssen!

There's a bunch of new releases by these guys - can we talk about them?
I thought Black Moon's album from '03 was pretty great.
Smif-n-Wessun's album this year is....not so good, but it has its moments. Its better than that awful Buckshot album with 9th Wonder. I don't even hate 9th as much as some, but those two together is like a socio-cultural alignment rather than a musical one!

I thought The Chosen Few was a great comeback release. I haven't heard this year's Duck Down stuff but I like their comic book cover art motif. It's done very well.
