Actually the best line in DWYCK isn't that one, or the oft-cited 'lemonade...props' rhyme. It's Smooth B bypassing mixed metaphors and going straight for puree with 'Like a rhinocerous my speed is prosperous.' Truly on the level of 'colorless green ideas sleep furiously.'

The D.O.C., "It's Funky Enough":

"YEAAAAAAAAAAAH HAHAAA, rastafahnasanavadaBAH!"

LOCK THREAD.

now that I think about it hardly any of Greg Nice's lines in that song make sense

"put lead in your ass and drink a cup of tea"

??

"I say Mohammed Ali you say Clashus Clay!"

I always assumed this track was freestyled live in the studio in one take. Anybody know for sure?

Or have any idea what the significance (if any) of the title is?

"put lead in your ass and drink a cup of tea"

I will kill you and then nonchalantly go about my business, namely maxing and relaxing.

oops (Oops), Wednesday, 30 November 2005 00:20 (twenty years ago)

The title was just a goofy in-joke between the boys that got out of control.

It's in the vein of "bozack" (ie, a way to say DICK on the radio and get away with it)
