can someone give me some tips on telling Breaks, Jungle, Drum and Bass, and House apart? not to seem like a total N00B but they all kinda sound the same to me, or rather i just don't know what to listen for.

wow, you all are really helpful. i knew i could count on you. now if anyone has any actual descriptive insights on how i might distinguish each of these genres, i'd still really like to hear em.

MUSIC CAN BE DISTINGUISHED BY DIFFERENCES IN TEMPO, INSTRUMENTATION, STRUCTURE, AND SOUND.

So is epitonic dead and just keeping everything up but not changing anything? It's been at least a year since that front page has changed.

matt2 (matt2), Thursday, 1 December 2005 19:44 (twenty years ago)

Dead. I think the people behind it run betterpropaganda.com now, I'm glad the old site isn't offline though. Hopefully they'll integrate it within the new site at some point.
