"It's My Thang" from their debut, sample also used in "It's My Thang '99" a track from the DJ Clue? album the Professional. I'm guessing it's a song also called "It's My Thang" itself, though I can't seem to find who did the original. Oh and it's gotta be one of the funkiest 3 note basslines ever. Sweet~

Bassline is from "7 minutes of funk" by Whole Darn Family and the "it's my thing" vocal sample is from "it's my thing" by Marva Whitney.

But as anyone got "7 Minutes of funk" - it's not in iTunes.

three years pass...

this new album of theirs is.... okay. ish. was thinking it might be something special based on a few reviews ive read but some of the beats are either a) shitty b) not reeally what i wanna hear these guys rhyme over. it gets better half way through when the beats get a bit funkier but the guests are mostly pointless/unnecessary.
