Your guess is as good as mine, but I sort of want one now. I don't really get what it DOES - is it just a keyboard with accordion sounds, mounted on a flappy thing so it looks like an accordion, or is it designed so that pumping it in and out actually does something with the sound? Their buzzwordy specifications don't really make it clear....

the impression i get is that it would be used exactly the same as a regular accordion - "...an engine that faithfully recreates the actual physical behavior and expressive nuances of an acoustic instrument"

An acquaintance of mine down the folk club makes MIDI accordions and concertinas. The movement of the bellows effects the volume, timbre and so on - they work pretty well! I was going to build one for my MSc a couple of years back, but found out it that he'd beaten me to it...
