His website (Thrash, not Throb) is a fascinating read indeedhttps://krisweston.com/

I think the man called Throb from Primal Scream died of a drug overdose a year or two ago.

Fascinating indeed, though it does get a little tiring when it becomes apparent that his blog is essentially a long screed against apparently every single person he ever worked with. To me Weston is always gonna be known as perhaps the only man in music history to ever get banned from his own fan board. Which is an accomplishment really. Not that he doesn't have a ton of legitimate gripes, but if you swear off all media and leave it to a dude who's a massive bullshitter and notorious for not being able to remember anything then I guess you deserve an inaccurate Wikipedia article.
For the record though I have no trouble believing that early Orb was like 80% Weston just as later Orb is like 80% Fehlmann. But they made great records without him and Weston's done fuck all since. No surprise he blew up his Kickstarter, which is too bad since I was interested in hearing what he'd come up with.
That said it's a fun read, no doubt

Phill Judd of Split Enz was banned from a fan forum. But yes, it's a shame no music seems to be forthcoming from Weston

Not quite the same league but Mick Harris got banned from the Justin Broadrick fan forum after a series of all caps rants slagging off Broadrick and making inventive use of the word milkman. Sad to see.
