I'm going to the second show tonight. Was it sweet? Did anyone unexpected show up?

Gavin Newsome came on for the encore and sliced open the joint like a freakin' cold salami, this with his killer gonzo kung-fu chemical style.

The guy from Alf? I remember when he did that guest verse on the Volume 10 album. He was fine on the mic.

i didn't see him this time around, but last time he was in town (maybe a year ago?), it was a terrible experience. he came on at like 1.30. we had to stand around watching the worst whiteboy backpacker crap. the dj and one of the mcs even got into a fight and someone broke a record angrily. doom only performed for like 25 minutes. and he was wearing cargo sweats (probably the worst part of the whole experience).

Harvey Milk rose from the grave and took over the decks on the back of a monster truck, driven by Robin Williams, that ploughed into the new DeYoung where Maya Angelou ran screaming from the ladies' bathroom. She slammed face-first into James Hetfield, who was eating a burrito with E-40.

Thanks for transcribing the Maupin verse for us, Adam.

Yeah, it was cool. Then he threw a boa over his shoulder and did

They call me naughty Lola
The wisest girl on earth
At home my pianola
It works for all it's worth
The boys all love my music I can't keep them away
So my little pianola keeps working night and day

It was a truly fetal moment.
