Track ID - Basement Jaxx remix?

Hereing a nice Jaxx remix on YSI thread reminded me I still hadn't trcked down the identity of this little instrumental number - sounds like Basement Jaxx?

It might be a remix of a Basement Jaxx track, but I don't think it's a remix by Basement Jaxx. They were never this 2-step.

i've never heard a remix of Basement Jaxx that retained that much of their own schtick though. the break that comes in later in the track doesn't really seem them either though. my guess is that it's either a decent imitation by someone else or a Jaxx EP track from '98/'99 (Sleazy Cheeks?).

I really, really like this track and have put it on cds for a couple of people and they really liked it and i still can't ID it and can't even find where I got it from! I know I didn't download it as it wasn't on my computer (obviously is now) but I can't find a record or a cd where i might have got it from - it's a complete mystery and it's doing my head in!

If that's 98/99 Jaxx I want more.
