Does anyone know how to get a guitar tone close to that Robin Guthrie sound?

What pedals to use, etc.

Just wondering. I always heard it was a lot of delay but I really don't hear that on many of the songs.

reverb and chorus are likely components. there was a 'total guitar' (?) article on robin's setup but it seems to have wandered off the web

You could probably get a lot of milage with a good stereo chorus pedal and the Line6 Delay Modeller.

his signature sound is very digital sounding up until late 90s. use to be able to duplicate most of the sounds on Victorialand by running acoustic 12 string and teles through digital reverse reverb (the kind with the attack cut out), chorus, delay, and flange.
