Michael Jackson in Bahrain

Michael Jackson's father recently spoke to an Associated Press reporter about his son's plan to continue living overseas. "He'll come back to visit, but not to stay, not to live. They didn't treat him right here," Joe Jackson said. Michael and his three children have been living in Bahrain since his child molestation trial ended in June. Joe also said he expects Michael to continue his music career. The self-proclaimed "King of Pop" is currently working on a Hurricane Katrina benefit single, which reportedly includes a number of today's pop and hip-hop stars.

Bahrain sounds like a good place for him, what with it's more lenient child molestation laws, er, I mean less intrusive press.

Does Anywhere actually have 'lenient' CML? Like, most places would basically have laws that allow the death penalty for that sort of thing. Whether they apply them or not is more the point, probably.

I'm not expecting it, it's just sort of a fantasy.

xpost Joek. Doubt anywhere actually has more lenient "laws" but I think some societies are much more look-the-other-way about it, at least in incest cases.

"They" didn't treat him right here. Which "they" would that be, Joe?

Joe Jackson, of course, knows a thing or two about treating his children right.

So, this benefit single. "We are the world" type tons-a-stars rubbish, or him and a couple o' other people rubbish?

I hope Prussian Blue will be on it.
