This is a place holder for discussion on this, the most amazing live recording of an Underworld show ever. 3hrs, filled with new tracks, old favorites and a shout out to the Dirty.org forum participants.

Get your hands on this show at any cost. They were manufactured for sale in Japan, only available to those at the show, from what I understand, but Ebay has them now! Don't miss it. Not sure the price on Ebay but they should be turning up on SoulSeek soon enough.

Argh I need this. I bet it will cost way too much on Ebay though.

btw. there are 2 versions. one directly from the soundboard and the other a Radio Broadcast recording of the show. the soundboard recording (ie. direct rip from 3CD sets) is the one you want.

i need this. there's an amazing live version of "JAL to Tokyo" on dirtyradio.net right now. and they just did an hour-long+ live broadcast on said station featuring a completely different and awesome version of "Jumbo." check dirtyradio.net later today for a possible rebroadcast of the set.

IN FACT... as luck would have it, now they are playing the full Live In Tokyo gig. i'm guessing it'll be going until around 6:30 EST. they just played "Spikee." this is good.

Yanno, all I need is Underneath The Radar which can be had for about a buck and a quarter these days. I'm the only person who likes that disc. I still play it, even if it's a bit dated. 'Course, it kinda was even when it was made...

I was at this concert. It was thoroughly baffling. They stopped between songs like a rock band and all their songs were in different styles, like progressive, rock, d'n'b, house, electro with a man shouting over the top. I don't get it.

with a man shouting over the top

sounds like underworld!

cutty (mcutt), Wednesday, 11 January 2006 12:09 (twenty years ago)

Was he shouting shouting lager lager lager?
