People with blogs find that very impressive.

ive kinda grown to appreciate him a bit more. hes still incredibly limited, and that constipated-thug way he raps is a bit try-hard but he does have some brilliant beats on the inspiration.

curiously, mostly from lesser knowns though, although the timbo beat was pretty fucking nuts, despite timbo typically ruining it with a shitty hook.

yeah when i realized it wasn't "haunted" but "horny" i liked the song less

He's got his formula down pat and generally delivers better than most other rappers covering the same ground, plus he often has sick beats and is clutch with guest verses.

just heard 'i'm so paid' and really liked jeezy's verse on it. he's been a very solid guest spot for like, 2 years now?

trap or die 2 comin
― BIG HOOS aka the steendriver, Sunday, 7 February 2010 17:10 (sixteen years ago)
he's definitely had a ton of guest appearances in the last couple years but honestly i can barely think of any i've actually enjoyed, aside from the Boosie single and a particularly funny turn on a Jennifer Hudson remix

oh and the best song on Blueprint 3, which is practically a Jeezy song with Jay on it anyway and kinda reaffirms that i prefer him in his own wheelhouse than being an addition to someone else's song.

busta's "conglomerate", lil boosie's "better believe it", kanye's "amazing" and rihanna's "hard" all spring to mind
― لوووووووووووووووووووول (lex pretend), Sunday, 7 February 2010 17:30 (sixteen years ago)
forgot about "Conglomerate," original version w/ Jeezy was definitely better before they replaced him w/ Wayne on the album
― Robert Altbro (some dude), Sunday, 7 February 2010 17:33 (sixteen years ago)
not many songs in the past year i've hated more than "Hard" and "Amazing," but neither really because of Jeezy
but seriously rolling his eyes at J-Hud and going "all that singin', what ya sayin'?" on the "Spotlight" remix is one of my top Jeezy moments of all time
― Robert Altbro (some dude), Sunday, 7 February 2010 17:35 (sixteen years ago)
ha i never heard that and i can't really imagine it!
i don't dislike "amazing" but jeezy really redeems it for me - love "hard" and his entrance makes it even better.

Why does Jeezy sound so good in an opporessive climate?

listening to this i can almost hear the whipping of the chopper blades in the future video, which i envision as a mix of mobb deep's "it's mine" w/ scarface & michael mann's miami vice

something about this stuff vibes w/ the cultural mood circa neo fascism better than other music. hits the right intersection of motivation & targeted anger & survivalism or something idk

yeah that song is glorious
