Not strictly music-related, but I've been trying to mix a cd together using cool edit's multitrack feature. I mixed the whole cd, saved the mixdown and seperated the tracks. Alas, when I burnt the cd I discovered that it burnt only silence - albeit the correct lengths of it. I think the culprit is the encoding - 192kbps MP3 CBR, as opposed to Mp3pro VBR - but it won't let me save files as MP3pro VBR. Any good mp3pro encoders that will convert from regular mp3 as opposed to .wav? Or am I maybe having another problem?
