recommend.

not so much the harsh industrial side but more the dark ethereal ambient type music.

like...a neuromancer film! well, SAW II always creeps me out and is definitely dark at times. M83 seems like it could be good for this too. Delia & Gavin too. Vangelis if youre thinking Blade Runner style.

I was going to suggest FSOL's Lifeforms, but I'm thinking Dead Cities would be more appropriate, as it's got an overall darker feel to it. In fact, go directly to the My Kingdom EP for just that sort of dark, ambient goodness you're looking for.

You might also look to the Polygon Window release, Surfing on Sine Waves, for a few nice low-key moments.

:Zoviet*France: - Digilogue

ive always associated "alchemagenta" with the istanbul chapter from neuromancer and "another soft helion" with the box maker from count zero; the rest of the album makes a pretty good cyberspace soundtrack i guess

I'd suggest Jon Hassell's City: Works Of Fiction.

Christoph de Babalon - If You're Into It, I'm Out Of It

It's all you really need. Seriously.

Ace Frehley - Trouble Walkin'

Neuromancer - "remember me", Thursday, 22 December 2005 18:55 (twenty years ago)

Christoph de Babalon - If You're Into It, I'm Out Of It

I'll second that recommendation. That's some good shit.

I've always heard Amon Tobin's "Permutation" as a soundtrack to some cybernoir film -- if Blade Runner were written by Dashiell Hammett.

Marco Passarani - Unspeakable Future Outbreaks
