was watching arte tv last month and caught the international something art something awards. some really great pieces (particularly the performance artist who shoots arrows at a wall of cassette players all playing found sound cassettes). but also a really pathetic short movie with lots of hitchcock look-a-likes running around fancy hotel's hallways carrying black umbrellas. the credits said mark perry did the music. i wrote down info about it down on a slip of paper which i've since lost. anyone else see it?

uh, no. this was about 10 minutes long and consisted entirely in footage of hitchcock lookalikes roaming around the halls and some footage of black umbrellas raining down outside. but it definitely said music by mark perry. maybe a different mark perry. i don't remember what the music sounded like though.

I was intrigued by this so had a look at this website -

http://www.arte-tv.com/

Is this the same channel?
It looks like you can look up individual days and see what was on. I wish I could get it, looks like loads of interesting programmes.

Damn that's frustrating- I wanna see someone shoot arrows at cassette players!
Sure beats Strictly F-ing Ballroom...

Could we combine all these concepts and shoot arrows at Bruce Forsyth and Fiona Phillips, while Alternative TV provide the incidental music?

Hmmmm, which track to choose 'though? "Going 'Round In Circles"? "Total Switch Off"? "Another Coke / Communication Failure"? "Unlikely Star"? "You Bastard"?
