Hello all!

I've been lurking for a while and thought I'd finally post!

Just wondered if anyone else here is familiar with CDBABY? I discovered the place when I bought Seedling by UK artist Jane (http://www.janemusic.info)but have since gone on to buy bucketloads of music there.

The website is at http://www.cdbaby.conm and the store has over 35,000 indie and unsigned artists on sale. Sure, there is some dross but there are definately enough hidden gems to make a visit worthwhile!

Virus or no, my band does happen to use CDBaby. It seems like a good service for bands who need to make their albums available to people without having a distributor, but I don't know if I'd recommend "browsing"

why can't industry viral spammer wannabes do a better job of fitting into the boards they're trying to infiltrate? why can't they write more like actual humans? or is it that most of them actually do, and we only notice the few who are really bad at it? are YOU one of 'em, hurting, and we've just never noticed? if so, i salute you!
