lemmy was th one who helped me make th leap from ted nugent aerosmith kiss idol worship into noise metal rumble seat rock..i used to listen space ritual alot before i discovered motorhead and dint know till later it was lemmy playin on it..i took a scary train ride asa 15 or 16 yr old to nyc to search out a copy of one of their records on vinyl..i had read in hit parader how heavy they were and blue cheer meets black sabbath meets stoofes blah blah and was instantly hooked..i found a copy of bomber and brought it home and played it as loud and as proud as if it were 2004 and i was 19 and i had just invited my dorm mates in to smoke weed and blast the new Lightning Bolt..it was so much morrrrrrrrrre than what i had been listening to..so fast and growly and dirty and great and i hope u he has 60 more..
