Do you prefer an artist or album that is an "artistic chance" by the band (drastically changing style/genre/tone/etc...) that is far from a success (but at least they tried) OR the band that keeps putting it out, over and again, 2nd verse same as the first (but you kinda wish they'd stretch or try something different)?
I'll leave informed examples to my better educated colleagues.
